In this video, two Unity Assets are already imported to a new 3D Unity Project: Space Robot Kyle and Raw Mocap Data for Macanim.
The video shows creating a cube and shaping it to be the running platform; changing the settings for Robot Kyle to humanoid and create avatar from this model before adding him to the scene; adding Kyle to the scene, positioning Kyle, the camera, and the platform; making the camera a child of Kyle (so it follows Kyle); creating an empty, calling it Character and adding Kyle to it, creating an animator controller with a run animation and attaching it to Character; adding a capsule collider, creating the movement script that keeps Kyle in 3 lanes controlled by the arrow keys and attaching it to Kyle.
